General Terms and Conditions for Attendees of the
FSAC 2017 Convention and Tradeshow1. Registration fees
All attendees must pay the registration fee prior to gaining access to Convention and Tradeshow sessions. Participants are also advised to have a copy of their confirmation/ticket when going to the registration table at the convention just in case they are requested to show proof of the payment on their arrival.2. Cancellation Policy
Registration cancellations must be notified in writing by email to email@example.com.
Cancellations received prior to May 1st, 2017 will receive a refund of registration fees less an administration charge of 25% of the Ticket cost. Cancellations made after, as well as ‘no shows’, are liable for the full registration fee.
Participants must make sure they receive an acknowledgement of their cancellation from the FSAC administration. Only this will confirm that their request has been received and processed.3. Liability
The FSAC administration reserve the right to amend any part of the Convention program if necessary at any time.
FSAC will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by attendees or accompanying persons, or loss of, or damage to their personal property as a result of the Convention or related events.
In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, FSAC accepts no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by attendees.
Attendees should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance, along with travel insurance.4. Age Restriction
Any attendee under the age of 16 years MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.5. Photography, Audio, and Video Recording
The FSAC Convention and Tradeshow is held in a public space, therefore we do not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, or news organizations from photographing, video or audio-taping some Conference activities. FSAC reserves the right to use images taken at the Convention with your photograph and/or likeness on social media and/or in future marketing materials. FSAC is NOT responsible for individual attendee’s use of your image or likeness. *For CONCERNS about your image or likeness being used in this manner, please contact FSAC at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In our sole discretion, without refund, we reserve the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the FSAC Convention and Tradeshow anyone that we determine is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the Convention or any other attendee.
Name badges, issued to attendees at registration, are required for admittance at all times.
The Funeral Service Association of Canada is committed to the protection of personal information. Contact information is collected and used for the purpose of processing the registration, creating a name badge for the participant, distributing convention materials at the convention, and placement on the delegate list for those who consent to being placed on the delegate list. Credit card information is collected, used and disclosed for the purpose of processing payment.
In addition, by registering for this convention, you consent to receiving further information relating to the convention, such as updates or changes to the program. By registering for the convention, you are agreeing to the foregoing collection, use and disclosure.
