All courses are completed and paid for completely online using any device, at any time of the day or night and certificates are automatically awarded.

FSAC Academy can be used by any funeral establishment across Canada. This includes individual licensed funeral professionals, non-licensed funeral staff, and students or interested parties entering the profession any time, day or night. It’s designed to offer education to all parties whether they need to fulfill their licensing requirements or simply want to learn new or advance their current skills. Approximately 600 FSAC member firms, totalling thousands of funeral professionals will have access to FSAC Academy courses.
Providing online education is one way you can generate revenue while you sleep. And the best part is that FSAC Academy provides the entire infrastructure, software, marketing and audience to make it happen.
A one-hour course costs $99 and a two-hour course costs $149.
You make 25% of the course fee every time your course is taken.
FSAC Academy will take over the marketing, accreditation and certification of your course so you don't have to.
For many instructors, this is dream come true. There's no sales or marketing efforts for you, just teaching and generating revenue. You do the teaching, we'll do the heavy lifting of getting your course out there.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Submit Your Course Application
Day one is considered the day you submit your Course Application.
Review Period for Proposal
The FSAC Professional Development will have two weeks to review your course application and approve or deny your course. If approved, you will receive an email with next steps to submit your course PowerPoint.
Your Powerpoint Presentation is Due
Upon acceptance of the proposed course, you will have 30 days to complete the PowerPoint course and submit this to the Professional Development committee for review.
Review Period for Presentation
Once your course is submitted for review, the FSAC Professional Development committee will have two weeks to review this and request any changes. After this is finished, FSAC will schedule the date and time for you to record your course and we request this be done within 2 weeks.
