"The Loss, Grief and Growth Manual is a straightforward and practical tool for educators and students. It's strength lies in creating a rich foundation of understanding on childhood bereavement coupled with useful techniques to enhance a child's grief process. Age appropriate lessons are provided based on a child's developmental understanding of death and loss. This booklet also highlights cultural diversity, presents helpful resources, and underscores respect for students and teachers and their innate capacity to support resilience. I would highly recommend this resource for the school community as a valuable guide in working with young people with issues of grief and loss."
